Event description
On-campus Undergraduate Open Day for all courses in the School of Education, Department of Psychology and Department of Social Sciences

About this event

This on-campus undergraduate open day will be the perfect opportunity to discover our beautiful parkland campus and put your questions to our academics, support teams and current students.

The event itinerary will include:

  • Subject sessions
  • Parents’ talks
  • Campus tours
  • Library tours

Student life fair with student support teams

Offering this event on-campus is subject to the government unlocking roadmap proceeding as planned. If there are any changes to this, this event will go ahead as a digital only event. All registered students and guests will be given plenty of notice of any such change.

Arrival & registration

Once you’ve booked your place, you’ll receive an email with your ticket attached.

Please bring this with you to register on the day, it can either be printed or displayed on your phone.

We will email you closer to the date, with details regarding the event itinerary and arrival location.

Subject Sessions

All subject sessions will start at 12pm, immediately after registration, and will not be repeated – so please ensure you arrive on time.

We will have socially distanced seating inside all buildings, which means there is a limit to how many students can register for each subject session.

You will only be able to attend the subject session that you register for; tickets will be checked at the door.

If you bring a guest, they will not be allowed into the subject session with you, but there will be other activities they can take part in.

Guests

Due to COVID-19 safety measures, we must limit the number of guests allowed on campus for this event. Therefore, each student will only be able to register one guest.

You will be asked to provide the name and contact details of your guest when registering. Any additional unregistered guest(s), will not be allowed entry to the event.

Guests will not be allowed into the subject session with you. While you attend a subject session, your guest will be able to choose from other activities including a parents’ talk, the student life fair with our support teams and a tour of campus and the library.

Parking

There will be limited parking available on campus, allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you require a disabled parking space or have any accessibility requirements that mean you need additional arrangements to make the most out of this event, please email ug.information@roehampton.ac.uk at the earliest opportunity.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

We will be implementing a range of COVID-19 Safety Measures, in order to keep you and others safe on the day.

  • Upon arrival, both you and your guest must present evidence of a negative COVID-19 test from within the last 7 days. Evidence of a negative test result must be in the form of a dated email
  • We can also accept a positive PCR or LFD test from within the last 90 days, (you must have completed your 10-day isolation period following confirmation of the positive result). This is because those who have had coronavirus in the last 90 days may show a false positive when testing again
  • We will have socially distanced seating inside all buildings
  • A face covering must be worn whilst inside buildings unless guests are medically exempt
  • Hand sanitising stations are offered throughout campus

Please be assured, these measures will also apply to staff and student ambassadors working on the day.
