Event description

Description

Is your operation positioned to take advantage of the significant technological advancements in underground mining equipment and practices in the recent past? It is no secret that implementing leading industry practices has the potential to transform the performance of underground mines through cost reduction, increased production, improved operational stability, and improved safety.

Paradoxically, the gap between industry best practice and common practice continues to widen with many operators missing out on significant benefits. What are consequences of lagging?

Join AMC's Managing Director for this breakfast seminar to find out more about best practices in underground hard rock mining and how they apply to your operation.

Informed by AMC’s comprehensive benchmarking database of more than 100 global projects, Patrick will cover the following points:

  • Current benchmarking trends and insights from Australia and Africa.
  • The relationship between productivity trends and mine operating costs.
  • Mining systems, innovation, and emerging technologies from Canada and the Nordics.
  • Examples of technologies implemented to address productivity/cost improvements.
