Low Carbon Skills and Management for Businesses

Most businesses have felt the pinch recently when it comes to energy bills. This free workshop is to help develop local businesses understanding of energy and carbon usage, and to take away practical actions to reduce it in your business.

The workshop will be delivered by Rushcliffe based training company Raven Sky Consulting. Your trainers will be Raven Sky Director Alice Veldtman and NTU lecturer Rose Deakin, and using interactive activities, they will help you to develop an understanding of carbon emissions and how they are calculated, before looking at what practical steps you can take to reduce carbon output (and energy expenses) in your business.

By the time you leave the workshop, you will have a better understanding of carbon output and begun to develop an action plan for your business.

Businesses will need to bring their own device (laptop and/or phone) where possible, as we will not have devices to loan out on the day.

Any business which attends this training will be eligible to apply for the £300 Low Carbon Bursary from Rushcliffe Borough Council. For full details, visit the RBC wbepage here - Employment and Skills - Rushcliffe Borough Council
