Workshop Overview
• Explore the Science Behind ACEs: Learn about the original ACE study and its findings, including the links between childhood trauma, long-term health outcomes, and resilience.
• Practical Application: Gain tools to identify and address ACEs in your work, fostering healing and promoting resilience in children, families, and adults.
• Trauma-Informed Practice: Understand how ACEs shape behaviours and responses, and develop strategies for creating safe, supportive environments.
• Interactive Learning: Participate in case studies, discussions, and reflective exercises to deepen your learning and integrate it into your practice.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a greater understanding of how to recognise the signs of ACEs, the impact they can have across the lifespan, and how to respond effectively to support positive change.
Participant numbers: Spaces are limited to 20 participants.
Pre-course requirements: Participants should be qualified or advanced trainee counsellors or psychotherapists, educators, healthcare workers, social workers, domestic abuse support workers, and anyone working with individuals affected by trauma.
Course delivery: In-person at Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Public transport and parking options can be found here.
Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course will receive a 50% refund of the balance.

As a supervisor and trainer, Will is dedicated to mentoring and developing the next generation of therapists. His hands-on, experiential training sessions are designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the ever-evolving field of mental health. Will’s approach to supervision is collaborative, offering guidance that fosters both professional and personal development for those he works with.
Through his work, Will blends theoretical understanding with practical experience, ensuring that his clients, supervisees and trainees are empowered to make meaningful progress.
