Ulster University's Centre for Legal Technology and the Law Society of Northern Ireland, in association with Factor Law, are pleased to invite you to this information session on artificial intelligence (AI) in legal practice.This free, in-person workshop is designed to demystify AI technology and demonstrate how it can be used effectively and ethically in legal work. Whether you're curious about AI's potential or looking to implement it responsibly in your own work, this session will provide practical insights and professional guidance.

- Foundational understanding of AI technology and its applications
- The case for integrating AI into legal practice
- The RACER framework for effective AI prompting techniques (with Factor Law)
- Professional and ethical standards governing AI use in legal work (with the Law Society of Northern Ireland)
The session features expert presentations from Ulster University's Centre for Legal Technology alongside insights from Factor Law on proven AI methodologies and professional guidance from the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
This event is aimed primarily at solicitors but welcomes anyone with an interest in the future of the legal profession.
Attendees will earn 2.5 hours of CPD credit.
Following this Belfast session, the CLT will be taking the programme across Northern Ireland in the new year, bringing these essential insights to legal professionals throughout the region.
