This workshop takes place over two sessions: Monday 28th July 6-8.30pm and Monday 4th August 6-8.30pm. You should attend both sessions.
This workshop is for:
- People who have experiences that may get labelled as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), with or without a diagnosis
- Their family, friends and carers
- Mental health workers
- Anyone who wants to know more about personality disorder
We will be exploring the meaning of the EUPD diagnosis, the reasons why people may experience the kinds of difficulties that lead to a diagnosis of EUPD and the pros and cons of having a diagnosis.
We will also discuss recommended treatments and share some strategies that people struggling with emotionally instability may find helpful.
Our workshops are for people aged over 18 only. This is because our specialist knowledge relates to mental health challenges experienced by adults and we may not be able to offer appropriate support in relation to children and young people.
