To introduce and practise Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) principles in the context of SEN/PRU settings, This will be supportive for Parents.

Workshop Aim

To introduce and practise Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) principles in the context of SEN/PRU settings, with a focus on:

  • Staying calm and authoritative without escalating.
  • Understanding SEN-specific adaptations (sensory needs, ODD/PDA, trauma).
  • Building consistency and solidarity among adults.
  • Using real-life scenarios to apply principles and phrases.
  • Exploring the challenges, including parent expectations and criticisms of NVR.

This will be a supportive workshop for Parents
