This workshop provides staff/volunteers with an understanding of eating problems, and what different type’s young people may experience.
Staff will have the opportunity to explore how to respond when working with a young person who is experiencing an eating problem.
The workshop will introduce staff to specialist eating problem apps, websites and other resources for young people with eating problems. Staff will explore the importance of looking after their mental health and wellbeing, especially when supporting others.
This is an interactive session and works best when those coming along are able to participate, therefore we ask that wherever possible you have your camera on.
You will never be put on the spot or singled out to answer a question.
Please note: This workshop is available free of charge as part of the Let's Connect project run by the Scottish Action for Mental Health and South Lanarkshire Council. This workshop is only for staff and volunteers within the South Lanarkshire Council area.
