Why It Matters

Research suggests that around 15% of Thurrock residents experience some level of gambling harm, with around 3% experiencing severe harm. Many others are affected by someone else’s gambling.

Because of the stigma and shame surrounding gambling, people often don’t seek help, or don’t know support exists.
