With a focus on history, culture, language and legislation, we’ll explore how to create safe, inclusive spaces and challenge discrimination with confidence.

Is the course facilitator led?

Yes, all of our courses are led by expert facilitators with connected personal and/or professional experience.

How do you meet different learning styles?

We use our Training 4 Influence methodology to cater to various learning styles. This approach incorporates visual aids, interactive activities, discussions, and practical exercises to engage visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic learners.

How do you keep an emotive session safe?

Emotive topics are handled with care. Our facilitators create a safe and supportive environment, both online and face-to-face, by using trauma-informed approaches, setting clear learning agreements, and offering debriefing opportunities.

Is lunch provided?

While we don’t provide lunch as part of the day, you’ll be well looked after with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout. There are also plenty of great local places to grab lunch, all less than five minutes away.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is no parking available at the venue. However, we’re very well connected by public transport and just a short walk from the centre of York. Parking is available nearby but costs do apply.

Is this course face-to-face?

Yes, this course is held face-to-face. However we do have the option to attend the course live online - please email us at admin@transformyourtraining.org for further information.
