Welcome to "Understanding and Supporting Your Child Through Puberty"

This valuable and informative event will explore the unique challenges and experiences that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) may face during this crucial stage of development.

Puberty can be a challenging time for any child, so, Corrina Wood, an independent consultant from Platypus Training, will bring valuable insights and expertise to this session offering support to parents and carers as they support their children during this phase of development.

**Please note, to attend this event you must live in Bristol (your bin will be collected by Bristol City Council) or your child must attend a school in the Bristol city area and you must have a child with Special Educational Needs but they do not need to have a diagnosis.

Bristol Parent Carers is a friendly group of volunteer parent carers, caring for children and young people (0-25 years) with Special Educational Needs, and Disabilities (SEND) who live in Bristol. Our expanding group comes from all different backgrounds and communities in Bristol.

We offer support and signposting for families across Bristol to that they receive the right support, at the right time, and in the right way. We also work together with local SEND services across Health, Education and Social Care, in order to shape the experiences that services provide for all families in Bristol.
