Understanding and Supporting Your Child With Tourette’s symptoms/Tics

This workshop delivered by clinicians experienced in working with young people with Tourette’s/Tic Disorder will provide information about Tourette’s and Tics in children and young people, dispel some common myths and give guidance on how you can best support your child/teenager as they negotiate the highs and lows of life with tics.

This workshop will provide an introduction to the topic. We understand that some participants may already have prior knowledge in this area, which may overlap with the content covered. We appreciate your patience as we aim to make our workshops accessible to parents and carers with a range of experience and understanding.

This session will take place via Zoom, you will be sent a joining link in your confirmation email which is the simplest way to join the session. Zoom can also be accessed by clicking the "View the Event" button on the reminder email and log into your Eventbrite account to access the event. More detailed instructions will be sent with your confirmation email, or can be accessed via the Online Events Page by following the instructions above.

Please note that attendees are not able to access their cameras and microphones throughout the workshop. Our main interaction tool throughout the workshop will be SLIDO where you can share written responses to questions. Slido is anonymous, but other users will be able to see what you have written. When answering questions please do not include personal or sensitive information such as names or anything that can identify you or your child.
