Description

What is this training session about?

The session aims to help school staff learn skills to support young people to better manage difficulties with anxiety.

What will I learn?

Understanding what anxiety is in young people, what influences it and practical ways to help. We will discuss effective evidence-based strategies and share practical resources you can use with students.

Who can attend?

This session is only available to high school staff in Lancashire schools. It is aimed at all school staff, especially SENCOs, pastoral leads, TAs and any other staff with specific responsibility for pupils’ emotional health

What else do I need to know?
This training is free of charge for anyone working in high schools in Lancashire. Places are limited to 30 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The day will run from 9.30 - 3.30. Further details will be sent out after you have registered on the course. Please share this information with anyone else eligible to attend.
