Overview

Training for primary, secondary and post-16 educators delivered over two sessions by the NDP team.

The Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Training (ADHD) will be delivered by the NDP team at St Giles C of E Primary School in Shrewsbury over two dates (10th March 2026 and 17th March 2026, between 15:45 and 17:30).

The training is grounded in both evidence and the lived experiences of those with ADHD and provides:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the neurocognitive processes associated with ADHD.
  • Practical strategies to support learning.
  • Positive psychology and person-centred approaches to strengthen co-production.

The training is part subsidised by the SEND and AP Change Programme and schools will be requred to pay £40 per delegate.

There will be another event covering the same training in Shropshire later in the year (venue TBC).
