Understanding Autism

An interactive workshop exploring what is meant by Autism, raise the awareness of how to work with a young person in a youth work setting and explore other conditions that may co-occur with autism such as ADHD, Dylsexia and Dyspraxia.

Learning Outcomes;

• Raise your awareness of what is meant by ‘autism’

• Raise your awareness of other conditions that may co-occur with autism

• Identify challenges you as a worker may be faced with

• Look at ways to work with young people with autism access your services.

• Where to access further information.

Participant - What you will need:

• Access to laptop/pc with microphone & camera

• Set up in a quiet space within your home.

• Pen and paper

Our funding supports training to be delivered to Residents of Scotland only.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please note: A £25 non-attendance fee will be applied where cancellation has not been received in advance of the event starting. You/your group will then be sent an invoice within 14 days.
