Overview

This workshop is designed to provide advice & support to parents of children in secondary school who would like to know more about Autism.

This workshop will help parents of secondary-aged children develop a clearer understanding of neurodiversity, with a focus on autism. Parents will be given practical ways of tuning into your child’s behaviour. We introduce the SPELL framework, a structured approach for supporting autistic children and we will also explore the importance of self-care for parents. The session aims to build understanding and provide practical strategies for supporting your child and family life.
