We are delighted to offer this series of interactive training course facilitated by the specialist team at Lighthouse School. These sessions will provide you with the skills to enhance your SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) practice in school with autistic learners.
The two sessions will allow delegates to focus in on two key areas that are key to autistic individuals. Allowing delegates to gain insight, further understanding and practical strategies about how you can adapt your practice to best support autistic learners. Session 1 - Supporting emotional regulation in autistic learners.
Delegates will explore how to support autistic learners with their emotional regulation.
Session 2 – Managing emotional health: anxiety, masking and burnout.
Delegates will gain more understanding of what anxiety, masking and burnout effects autistic individuals.
