Event description
Understand how to communicate your research and interact in discussions, by mastering and being conscious of your body language!

About this Event

The Univeristy of Exeter's Women in Physics and Women in Climate networks are hosting a training event on body language and non-verbal communication.

Understanding how we communicate our research, interact in discussions and networking are critical skills for all researchers.

The training will cover what positive body language is, how to identify negative body language in ourselves and others, and how to respond when we realise our body language is closed, aggressive or passive.

The training will be run by Sadie Sharp from the London based Sharp Transformations. This event is open to all PhD students or early career researchers (post-doc or lecturer).

The training will be open to 20 people for each session. If there are no tickets left, please contact the organisers to be added to the waiting list.

These sessions are possible thanks to funding from the Researcher-Led Initiative awards from the University of Exeter’s Doctoral College and the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
