Our training discusses the biggest taboo in domestic abuse – violence of children and young people towards their parents, carers and siblings. CAPVA is one of the most under-researched and underreported types of abuse and our training will shine more light onto the topic. On this CPD Accredited training you will be asked to challenge your own beliefs and attitudes. Our aim is to challenge myths and increase awareness of professionals working with families. We will look into CAPVA as an issue affecting families, communities and the wider society. Our training discusses the most up to date practices and tools used worldwide by CAPVA specialists. Most importantly, you will be encouraged to develop your own practice or to make adjustments to your work to meet needs of your clients.
