Registration is free, however your school will be invoiced £250 per delegate (and £125 per subsequent delegate from the same school) following the first training session.
This is a substantial resource to support your teaching of Christianity in Religious Education. The key purpose of this project is to help all teachers support pupils in developing their own thinking and their understanding of Christianity, as a contribution to their understanding of the world and their own experience within it.
Why should I come on this training?
This is an inspiring CPD and you will receive great materials for a new and exciting approach to teaching Christianity. In the forthcoming SIAMS framework the teaching of Christianity in Church Schools will include inspecting the level of theological literacy pupils have gained. This training will equip schools to be able to fulfill these requirements.
The training takes places over 12-18 months and consists of
1 full day (9th February 2017 - 9.00 -3.00 p.m.)
2 1/2 days (25th May 2017 & 6th July 2017 - 1.00-4.00 p.m.)
1 Surgery (date to be confirmed)
Delegates must attend all the training days to complete the course.
A full bag of materials and schemes of work to equip you to teach Christianity for EYFS-Yr6 are also included.
