Understanding Deafblindness (one-day course) LONDON

This one-day course is designed for people who may be working with, or coming into contact with people who have sensory loss. The day offers simulation opportunity, practical exercises, lecture and discussion.
This course is suitable for practitioners working with children or adults. To ensure the course is as relevant as possible, we run the course with either a child or adult focus, so please check when you are booking.
Participants will be able to understand the issues around communication, mobility and the environment for deafblind people. They will increase their skills and effectiveness in supporting a deafblind person.
