About this Event
Available to professionals across North Wales and forming part of the National Training Framework VAWDASV syllabus, providing an opportunity to upskill and/or provide significant opportunities for Continual Professional Development (CPD) for professionals.
Delivered via Microsoft Teams, this session aims to provide knowledge and understanding of controlling and coercive behaviour (CCB) by:
• Giving an overview of the offence as part of the Serious Crime Act December 2015.
• Understanding what coercive control is and its function within an abusive
relationship,
• Understand the effects and impacts of CCB
• Provide information on types of domestic abuse
• Advice how to support victims/survivors and refer to specialist services

PLEASE NOTE:
This course is delivered via MS Teams it is virtual, however, it is designed to incorporate virtual versions of in class activities.
You will need to access via a suitable device such as a laptop or desktop computer (mobile phones do not provide the functionality required)
