Please note that these sessions are only available to any business or organisation within Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire only.
This training is aimed at those with little or no previous knowledge of Domestic Abuse.
The session includes a mixture of discussion, case studies and Q&A
Covers the following topics:
- Understanding the different types of domestic abuse
- Acknowledging barriers to seeking support
- Recognising the impact abuse can have on those affected
- Broaching the subject
- An overview of the support offered by New Era
- How to refer into the New Era

You will only be able to join up to 10 minutes after the start time to minimise disruption and to ensure you get the most out of the session.
No, the content of the session is not suitable for children. There will be open discussion regarding domestic abuse and individual participation is encouraged.
We recommend testing the link prior to the session taking place.
Yes, we request cameras to be on during the session so that we can ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Also, as we encourage active participation you will need to enable audio facilities
