North Somerset Parent Carers would like to invite parent carers, their families and professionals to join us with Bibic for training on Understanding dyspraxia, coordination and movement difficulties.

Bibic is a national charity based in Langport, Somerset. They deliver therapeutic programmes to children and young adults aged 6 months to 25 years. They support individuals with developmental and neurological disabilities and difficulties enabling them to thrive and live happy and fulfilling lives. Bibic sees individuals with or without diagnosis. They provide assessments and holistic, bespoke developmental therapy through working with their team of specialist Developmental Therapists.

The training will include the following:

  • What dyspraxia is and how it affects children and young people
  • The link between motor skill challenges and executive functioning
  • Practical ways to builf independence and confidence.

This is a free training event for parent carers of children with additional needs and/or disabilities within North Somerset. This event is also open to professionals who work with children/young people with additional needs and/or disabilities in North Somerset. Priority on place allocation will be given based on the criteria above.

North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together are incredibly excited to extend our training offer with more diverse topics to benefit you and your families.
