Understanding Eating Disorders l 18th May

This three hour Understanding Eating Disorders course is aimed at individuals, school staff, health professionals, parents and friends who suspect an eating disorder and want to learn more.
The course helps you to understand the more common physical, psychological and behavioural causes of Eating Disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorders). It will also provide you with guidance on what to do next.
This course covers:
What an eating disorder is
Types of eating disorders
Who can be affected
Risk factors associated with eating disorders
Signs and symptoms
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.
