By Plunkett UK
Online event

Overview

Aimed at volunteers / committee members involved with a community-owned business with no previous financial data knowledge.

PLEASE NOTE: Ticket sales will close at 5pm on 26th February

Do you know what a gross margin is? How about a net profit? A top line turnover?

If you're baffled by the jargon and have no financial business experience, join us for this entry-level explainer session with one of our most experienced Plunkett advisers. Learn what the terms mean, and why they matter for the financial health of your community business and its ability to stay open for your community.

We'll be demystifying the Profit and Loss and the cashflow forecast to enable you to understand your business, vote in an informed way on the accounts at your AGM, and discuss things more knowledgeably with your Treasurer.

We'll also throw in some practical things like how you can set the right selling price to achieve sustainbility.

There will be a Q&A session after the session. All attendees will be sent a jargon-busting resource, which will also sit on the Member Hub resource library.

This webinar is free to Plunkett Members.
