About this event

This training focuses on raising awareness of Financial and Economic Abuse within Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. It explores the unique cultural, social, and systemic factors that contribute to these forms of abuse, including barriers to seeking help and accessing resources. Participants will gain insights into recognising signs of Financial and Economic control, coercion, and exploitation, and will learn culturally sensitive strategies for providing support, empowering victims, and promoting financial independence within these communities.
