Description

Eligibility

This is a free half day course for parents and carers in West Sussex.

What will I learn?

Human beings are social creatures. The ability to make connections, to have friends, to form relationships and bonds is a vital skill that develops naturally in some children, but others may need more of a direct intervention and helping hand to be able to do this effectively. This course will look at why being able to connect and communicate with others is important and what we can do to help children who struggle in this area.

Getting to the Venue

Parking is available at the venue although before 9:15am it may be more difficult due to school mini buses. There is some street parking. Horsham is the nearest station and it is a 15/20 minute walk.

Timings and breaks

It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before proceeding to book at training@coastalwestsussexmind.org

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided during the mid-morning break. We will try and provide a caffeine free option but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations

Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend this course.

This course is heavily subsidised as it is a funded programme. Our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Please inform us if you are unable to take up your space as we can offer this to someone on our waiting list.

In-House Courses

In House courses are a cost-effective way of training a whole team in your own venue, on a date that works for you. Please contact us to discuss your exact training needs on:

We hope you enjoy the course!
