About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

This talk is open to Waltham Forest residents aged over 18 and adult users of Waltham Forest Health and Care services. We are delivering the talk in collaboration with the Waltham Forest Mental Health and Wellness Team (NELFT NHS Foundation Trust).

The talk will provide information about grief and the grieving process to dispel some of the common myths and misconceptions that surround grief. We will also discuss the various ways that grief can affect us and explore coping strategies to look after ourselves and to support others.

It will be an interactive session but there will be no expectation that you have to participate – you are very welcome to just come along and listen.

The talk will last 1.5 hours and then there will be 30 minutes at the end for those who would like to stay for a drink and a chat.
