About this event

In this workshop, we will explore some of the different ways neurodivergent clients can be particularly vulnerable to harm occurring in therapy.

Exploring relational harm, boundary violations and exploitation; looking at how we might be attentive to the potential for harm in our practices; considering the impact of our own relationships with harm; rupture/repair processes, and learning more about working with neurodivergent people who have been harmed in previous therapy.

About your Speaker:

Erin (she/they) is a Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer working online in private practice.

They specialise in working in therapy and consultation with people who have had previous harmful experiences of therapy, and in supervision and training with therapists who are interested in engaging with therapy harm.

Erin is AuDHD, white, queer and from a working class background. She has also recently been elected to the BACP board.

This workshop welcomes those with an interest in the subject of relational trauma and neurodiversity, including both Neurotypical and Neurodivergent people working as Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Family Therapists, Coaches, and Teachers.
