Understanding how people are excluded
Wednesday, 19 October 2016 from 13:00 to 16:00 (BST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This workshop explores how people in our communities experience exclusion, especially those living with an impairment. Through sharing stories and conversations you will gain a deeper understanding of how exclusion affects people. The workshop facilitators will create a safe space to explore the issues, and reflect on our learning.
By the end of this workshop you will have:
• More knowledge of how exclusion affects others
• More confidence in your ability to include yourself and others
This workshop is delivered by a team of people who are passionate about raising awareness about the effects of exclusion. The trainers all have lived experience of impairments.
If you have a physical disability or mental health challenge and living in Gloucestershire on a low income, you may be able to apply for help with your travel costs. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
You will be pleased to know that all our workshops are offered free of charge, however if you do book a place and find that you are unable to attend the event we will ask for a cancellation fee of £15.
