This course aims to help trade union reps to understand the different types of HRM and how it effects their members. Human resources (HR) is the department within a business that is responsible for all things worker-related. That includes recruiting, vetting, selecting, hiring, onboarding, training, promoting, paying, and firing employees and independent contractors.

How long is the course?

This course will be delivered over 3 days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in a classroom.

How much is the course?

There are no course fees for union reps from TUC affiliated unions.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is for residents of England only. This course will be delivered by Wirral Met College. Please be aware that funding restrictions in some areas may mean that a college cannot accept your application: if this is the case you will be notified which college to reapply to.
