Event description

Description

This training will introduce participants to the basic principles of Impact Evaluation.

It is aimed at professionals and practitioners who seek to make an impact with their work and who have to demonstrate that impact to funders and other stakeholders. At the end of the training learners will have:

  • an understanding of what impact is

  • strategies to monitor and measure impact

  • strategies for how to make best use of impact evidence

North RTD specialises working with populations that are considered 'hard to reach' in research terms, for example those engaged in the criminal justice system, people with mental and emotional health issues, people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction or educationally disadvantaged young people. This training might be of particular interest if you work in these areas.

This training wil be delivered by Dr Carlie Goldsmith. Carlie is an experienced researcher and evalulator, she is currently lead researcher with North RTD and honourary research fellow with St Mary's University, London.
