In honour of National Interfiath week, Al-Mahdi Institute in collaboration with the Birmingham Council of Faiths presents an 'Understanding Islam & Christianity' study-day workshop to be conducted by Dr Chris Hewer, on Saturday 17th November 2018 at 10:00am to 5:00pm at Al-Mahdi Institute.

The workshop is open to people of all faiths and none and aims to introduce the core beliefs and principles of Islam and Christianity to a wider audience. The schedule for the day is as follows;

10:00am - Registration and welcome

10:15am - Understanding Islam workshop with Q&A

1:00pm - Lunch break (Lunch provided by AMI)

2:00pm - Understanding Christianity workshop with Q&A

5:00pm - End

Dr Chris Hewer comes from a background in Christian theology, education, Islamic studies and inter-faith studies and has worked in the field of Muslims in Britain and Christian-Muslim relations since 1986. Find out more about his work here.
