Event description

Description

The second tour in 2019 will be a tour of the Natual History Museum will focus on the evidence for evolution by natural selection.

A lot of people who leave high-control religions may have been taught that this elegant idea is "just a theory" and even when they leave the religion, they may not fully understand evolution. This tour aims to rectify that and teach you in a simple way how it works.

In November 2018, we focused on bird evolution and the evidence for how they evolved from a class of dinosaurs. This time we will focus on mammal evolution (including humans) and see how mammals too came from a class of reptilian animals.

It will be followed by a social in the museum café at 3pm.

The tour and social are free, so feel free to come along to one or both.

You do not need to bring physical paper tickets.
