The Perth and Kinross Violence Against Women Partnership (PKVAWP) are pleased to organise and support this Seminar as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence Campaign. This event is supported by Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee (CPC).

Target Audience: The seminar will be of particular interest to those who work to protect children and support families where abuse and violence is present

About the Seminar:

 

A seminar by Dr Graham Hill, a visiting research fellow at the school of law at the University of Leeds and founder and first head of Behaviour Analysis at the UK Child Exploitation Online Protection centre (CEOP). The seminar will examine the behaviours of perpetrators of child sexual abuse and how a deeper understanding of offender behaviour can assist in multi-agency working and influence child protection practice across different agencies and organisations

 

 

Dr Graham Hill

Dr Hill is a visiting research fellow at the school of law at the University of Leeds. He is a former senior police officer with extensive experience in Major and Specialist Crime Investigation. He is the founder and first head of Behaviour Analysis at the UK Child Exploitation Online Protection centre (CEOP).

His knowledge and expertise concerning the behavioural aspects of child sexual abusers has been developed over the course of his policing career and the specialist roles he has held together with his academic research.

The seminar will cover

  • Understanding the perpetrators of child sexual abuse
  • How a deeper understanding of offender behaviour can assist in multi-agency working and make it effective across different agencies and organisations
