The Hydrographic Society in Scotland invites you to an evening meeting on

Understanding our Changing Seas.

At The Carmelite Hotel

With the following presentations:

‘Glider technology and applications for environmental monitoring’ presented by Keith Wallace of BlueOcean Monitoring.

‘Monitoring carbon capture and storage sites using shore to field to shore AUV operations’ presented by Graham Brown (Sonardyne), Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) Project Chief Technologist.

‘Diving-based seawater temperature measurement: from paleo to the future’ presented by Martin Sayer of the NERC National facility for scientific diving.

Presentations will commence at 19:00.

The bar will be open from 18:30 and a buffet provided prior to the meeting.

This event is open to members and non-members of The Hydrographic Society.

There is a charge of £10 cash for admission (please ask at the door if you require a receipt). There is an additional charge of 50p for card payments on the door.

Admission is free for full time Students.

CPD Event: This event qualifies as continued professional development for members of appropriate professional organisations such as RICS & ICES.
