About this event

The workshop aims to enable those in Catholic education to understand public sexual harassment and it's links with other forms of sexual harm, and to build confidence in responding effectively in the context of Catholic schools

Course Content: This interactive, CPD-accredited training delivered by Our Streets Now and Caritas Safe in Faith, builds staff confidence in responding to and preventing public sexual harassment, both inside and outside the classroom.Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, the training uses real student experiences to understand how a culture of sexual harassment has become so normalised, and the impact it has on young people. We cover safeguarding, tackling the barriers to disclosing for students and how to challenge harm. The session also introduces our free teaching resources and how to use them with confidence.
