Understanding Sensory Processing - A free workshop for parents and carers of a child/young person with additional needs in West Sussex

About this event

Find out about different sensory processing difficulties in each of the eight sensory systems and learn about ways to help your child/young person. Delivered by West Sussex Autism and Social Communication Team for parents/carers of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.

Time: 9.45am - 12.30pm

Venue: Quakers Meeting House, Priory Road, Chichester PO19 1NX

Reaching Families is a West Sussex-based organisation which aims to empower, inform and support parents and families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in West Sussex.  We achieve this through the delivery of a wide range of high quality projects and services including:- Our parent-carer guides 'Making Sense of it All' and 'Making Sense of Adult Life', localised Fact Sheets, Training Workshops, Making Sense of It All Foundation Course, Making Sense of Wellbeing Course, Face-2-Face Befriending, Parent Support Groups and Facebook.
