What are Reflective Workshops?

Reflective Workshops are designed to get the best out of every participant, where every body has experiences, understanding, and questions which will benefit everyone's learning. The Workshops promote curiosity and self-reflection.

What can you expect?

Our team will host the workshop online for a group of up to 20 people. This series of workshops will be hosted for a group which may include Parents, professionals from Social Care, Education, Healthcare and Mental Health Services.

We will work with the group to identify achievements, opportunities to improve, and explore their ideas around how they will achieve their group aims.

Experience a sensory overstimulation simulator!

This experiance will help you gain insight into the sensory experience some people who are neurodivergent deal with on a daily basis.

In order to create an accurate experience, we need you to prepare some household items for this online workshop.

Things like:

A3 paper

Sour sweet

Headphones

What are the workshops about?

Sensory Processing can be really hard to relate to and consider in the moment.
For many neurodivergent indivduals, or people who experience trauma, sensory demands can be constantly exhausting and triggering.

By joining or booking to attend this reflective workshop you will get to:

1. Reflect on what you do well, and how you can be better
2. Understand what Sensory Processing is
3. Learn from Personal Experience
4. Experience a Sensory over and under stimulation
5. Get an insight into our integrated sensory trauma model

Reflective workshops are a great chance for to connect with other people who have their own experiences, passion, and understanding.

We designed the reflective workshops as a way for people of diverse backgrounds, to Learn, Share, and Inspire.

Creating an inclusive forum for groups to collaborate for improving Social Care, Education, Employment, and much more.

Each event has a focussed topic.

From myself and Dave, as workshop facilitators, to attendees, or guest speakers, the workshops become a diverse option for all of us to:

  • meet new people
  • feel supported
  • learn from each other
  • hopefully have some fun
