A dynamic, powerful and thought-provoking learning experience informed by research, evidence practice and our national network. It is an opportunity for all safeguarding partners to explore what, how and why responses to sexual exploitation can be positively and adversely influenced whilst examining the wider inter-relationship with:
- Exploitation and modern slavery
- Intersectionality and gender bias
- Stereotypes and societal perceptions
The session is designed for all Safeguarding partners who work with adults and children who have been exploited; it will enable them to feel more confident in building on their learning, increasing their professional curiosity, and collaborating effectively with families and other safeguarding partners. This will strengthen their ability to safeguard individuals more effectively.
Why This Course Matters and What You’ll Learn:
Understanding Sexual Exploitation: Research-Informed Learning:
This dynamic and thought-provoking learning experience builds on foundation/basic knowledge of the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adults.
