Overview

In this bite-sized session we will look at what sleep is, how it affects us and particularly the effects it can have on our mental health. We look at why we need it and what can happen when we don’t get enough! You will also think about your own sleep patterns and routines and discover how you can get the most out of your sleep.

Key outcomes of this workshop include:

  • Understanding basic science around sleep cycles and circadian rhythms
  • Recognise what happens when sleep is disrupted, or sleep needs are not met
  • Be able to review your own sleep routine to find improvements
  • Awareness of good ‘sleep hygiene’ and steps you can take

This is a free online workshop delivered on Teams by qualified Mental Health Trainer Jo Fleming.
