Who are these courses for?
These free one-hour online courses are designed for both new and experienced users of Understanding Society: the UK Household Longitudinal Study.
What will you learn?
The lectures will cover:
- A brief overview of Understanding Society, highlighting its key features such as study design (who is interviewed, how are they interviewed and how often, what information is collected), and how to access the data
- An extensive review of the questions in Understanding Society related to a specific topic
- A demonstration of how to search and find specific questions and variables efficiently
