Description
Understanding South Sudan is a collaborative event between the Firoz Lalji LSE Africa Centre, LSE PhD Academy, AHRC/ESRC Politics of Return.
The evening involves a panel discussion and exhibition. It aims to bring together UK-based scholars and the S. Sudan diaspora communities to both consolidate research and critique ways of knowing.

Accompanying exhibition: 'Enduring Exile' (www.enduringexile.com), featuring photography by Katie G. Nelson, research by Liz Storer and is Curated by Kara Blackmore.
Admission is open to all, but registration is required. The venue is the Senior Common Room, located within the Old Building at LSE.
The event will be accompanied by a drinks reception.
