This course provides a practical introduction to the concepts of stress, mental health and resilience, combined with practical exercises and materials that can be used immediately to reframe your vision of stress and start to build change into your life. Through participating in the workshop you will be understand:

– What stress is, its causes, triggers and effects.

– The connection between stress and pressure, and the signs of both.

– Methods for managing and reducing personal stress.

– How mindfulness, lifestyle and attitude changes can improve your personal resilience.

– Increase your knowledge of common mental health conditions and why it’s important to know.

– Understand the mental health continuum and consider your place on it.

– Be aware of the common causes of mental health problems and learn practical strategies to deal with them.

– Know when and where to get further support, should you need it.
