Overview

Understanding suicide involves recognising that it is a complex issue influenced by mental health, emotional pain, and various personal and social factors, rather than a singular or simple choice.

In this bite-sized session we look at risk factors associated with suicide and how we can identify them. We’ll also look at how to hold a sensitive conversation with confidence to provide support to someone in crisis.

Key outcomes of this workshop include:

  • Increased awareness of prevalence of suicide and its impact
  • Ability to identify risk-factors
  • Awareness of tools to support individuals in crisis
  • Confidence to navigate conversations about suicide

This is a free online workshop delivered on Teams by qualified Mental Health Trainer Jo Fleming.
