About this event
Have you ever recited short surahs in your Salah, but felt their meanings slip away as routine took over?
Join ILM UK for the next instalments in our webinar series, “Understanding My Surahs for Salah”, designed to help you improve your focus and presence in prayer by uncovering the meanings behind the surahs we recite most often.
In this special two-part series with Shaykh Asim Khan, we’ll explore two profound yet concise chapters of the Qur’an:
- 27th September – Surah Ad-Ḍuḥā: A chapter revealed to uplift and console the Prophet ﷺ, reminding us of Allah’s care, mercy, and constant presence in our lives.
- 28th September – Surah Al-Kawthar: The shortest surah in the Qur’an, but one that holds immense lessons about gratitude, devotion, and the eternal blessings promised by Allah.
Whether you’re new to learning Islam, not fluent in Arabic, or simply want to deepen your connection with what you recite, these sessions are for you.
Key Lessons You Will Learn:
- Understand the background and message of Surah Ad-Ḍuḥā and Surah Al-Kawthar in a simple, relatable way
- Discover how these surahs bring comfort, hope, and focus to your Salah
- Learn how reflecting on their meanings transforms your khushū‘ (presence of heart) in prayer
- Gain practical tools to connect with the Qur’an, even without Arabic fluency
- Be inspired to make every surah you recite a source of peace and reflection
These webinars are designed for all levels, especially those:
- Who are not fluent in Arabic
- Who have little prior Islamic study
- Who want to revive their connection with Salah
Let your Salah become more than words of recitation.
Let it become a journey of meaning, reflection, and closeness to Allah.
