Event description
Join us on 29 January for our workshop ‘Understanding the basics of Digital Bookkeeping’.

About this Event

As a small business owner understanding the financial position of your business is extremely important. In order to do so, you need to be aware of the basics of accounting and bookkeeping and in this workshop, Emma Hardwick from our Plus Advisory team will demonstrate how digital accounting software, such as Xero can be used to help achieve this.

Now is your chance to join our workshop and discuss your bookkeeping requirements;

  • Benefits of Xero
  • Review revenues and expenses
  • How to use bank feeds, or import your bank statements
  • Creating estimates and invoices
  • Monthly tracking
  • Creating simple monthly financial reports and how to interpret them
  • Difference between budgets and actuals
  • VAT thresholds & requirements
  • How MTD is affecting your compliance requirements

Therefore if you are a small business owner or considering starting your own business now is your chance to ask the experts. Xero certified accountant, Emma Hardwick will be taking you through the above and we will run through the software (Xero) to show how it can work practically day-to-day and reduce the manual inputting of data, saving you time across the whole of your business.

The Workshop gives you the chance to discuss your views, opinions and questions with our Plus Advisory team and with each other.

The Workshop will be held at MyHotel on Jubilee Street, Brighton on Wednesday 29 January – please join us from 9.00am for light refreshments and we will begin the Workshop at 9.15am
