Understanding the Immigration and Asylum System

In this training session, put on by the Restricted Eligibility Support Service, aimed at people working in housing and homelessness across Greater Manchester, we explore an introduction to the immigration system in the UK, how people can enter and seek leave to remain in the UK and the restrictions imposed. We will also explore the asylum system, including why people seek protection in the UK and an outline of the asylum process.
