Event description
In this short webinar, we will explore the power of shame and what enables recovery.

About this Event

Shame is a strong and powerful emotion and one which can cause a lot of coping mechanisms, some of which cause challenges for people around them and some cause long-term damaging reactions which are internalised.

Those who have experienced a strong reaction of shame can spend their lives trying to protect their body from the feelings associated with shame, literally building a whole set of protective mechanisms.

In this short webinar, we will explore the power of shame and what enables recovery. It will be based on the book 'The Simple Guide to Understanding The Impact of Shame' by Betsy de Thierry.
